Offered is the latest iKon razor known as the OG1 (open comb & guard). Very similar to the SBS (Tradere razor style). The guard side closed comb is very mild. The open comb side is medium aggressive. The head made of aluminum and clear coated. The handle is 85 mm made of 316 stainless steel. Overall this is a very nice shaving razor. Weight 3.9 oz

Hello TSN,


Long time no see. After a long hiatus, I think I have finally being cured from all my shaving buying addictions, albeit the addiction shifted somewhere else. Now I'm into vintage watches, mainly pocket watches. What can I say?
So in order to afford this new addition and make up some room, I have to sell some shaving material, which I probably have enough for 2 generations. 
I hope I'm not off with the prices, the goal here is not to make a profit, but rather put the gear in the hands of people that would appreciate it. 

1)Maison du Barbier Brush

Here we have a brand new unused Maison du Barbier pure gray badger brush. I purchased 2 of these during a trip to Paris a few years ago. I'm selling the white one and keeping the black. These are a little but scrubby as you can expect, but soft enough to massage your face. Don't expect a high mountain softness out of these.
These are manufactured by the same company that owns Plisson at an entry level price. 
Hair is pure gray badger

2)Maison du Barbier Soap and bowl  ---SOLD---

Following the Maison du Barbier trend, I have a shaving soap and ceramic bowl new and unused. The soap is still in its plastic wrapper.
The soap has a subtle fresh smell from what I can tell since its still wrapped.

3)Merkur Progress Standard Handle  ---SOLD---

Razor is used but in good condition. Some minor scratches and discoloration in the inside of the top cap. I tried to capture everything in the pictures. A nice razor for someone that wants to try the Progress. Comes with original box.

4) Merkur Vision 2000  ---SOLD---

Last I have the elusive discontinued Merkur Vision 2000 in original box with instructions and shipper.
I'm the second owner. I bought this used a long time ago but never used it. It is in great condition and does not have any knicks, plating issues or scratches that I can see. Works as expected and has no mechanical issues.
The tin box is also in good shape, but has a couple of small dings on the bottom (see pictures).
I paid $200 for this back in the days, asking $175 shipped CONUS.





















5) Floris 89 soap --- SOLD ---

This is my favorite soap and I have many of them. The soap comes with the wooden bowl and is sealed new in box. Bought these in London several years ago.

6) Scottish Fine Soaps - Shave Soap and Bowl Set  ---SOLD---

I purchased 2 of these a long time ago, beautiful set with nice presentation and ceramic bowl. The soap is still sealed in its wrapping and the box is complete including the wrapper.

Good Day folks: Up for consideration today is a Super Clean British #58 and a set of Karve head set including Brass C & D including cap.



First up is a Cased British #58, one of the cleanest I have seen. The case is free of the usual spots and the razor matches. Much better than pictures, man isn't that a BST cliche'. But, literately I just went out to the sun light to review a description and other than on small water spot on a door and the same underneath. It sure is in another class compared to the one I am keeping. For those wondering about the loop, this is a 1955 case, the intro year, cased appropriate. Doors open evenly and completely, The case does have a cut inside top in liner. The yellow cast in pictures of the razor is not how it presents in hand. I don't know, but it looks like white gold to me....very pretty


Price for the #58 including professionally packed shipping to USA 50 $145 Reduced to $125. I would consider trade for Sabre.

I have a charcoal goods copper level 2 sb with stinger handle to sell. About 4 months old and in perfect condition. I've let it develop a patina and the pictures don't pick up the blues and purples. Here are a couple of my go-to shavers. I don’t use straights as much anymore, so I’m looking to downsize and reallocate some resources towards other hobbies.

This is one of the earlier Brian Brown blades. It measures over 6/8ths, and is an absolute pleasure to shave with. Some guys think that this earlier steel is superior to what he is using now. Asking $175 incl. domestic shipping and I’ll cover $10 towards international shipping.

The Cape is a Swedish steel blade and is a real sleeper. Smooth and sharp, very high quality steel and a killer blade. Also measures 6/8. $125 with the same shipping terms as mentioned above.

Feel free to ask any questions you may have, I’ll do my best to answer them. These are a couple of great razors at very much attainable prices.

I've something else for sale which may interest you gents... An Ever-Ready Streamline stropping outfit circa 1950s.

Condition:

Streamline has one small area of plate loss on the safety bar, some "flea bites" to the top cap but otherwise good condition.
Stropper is in good condition.
Strop is in good condition.
Case has one blade bank missing and a repaired crack at the rear.

All in all in a nice "shaver grade" example of this set, not a collectors piece but something you can use every day without fear of ruining it. With overall condition in mind I'm asking £40 delivered within the UK, happy to ship to the USA which would work out at £50 delivered (Royal Mail tracked+signed service.) Alternatively, I may be open to trades for a Gillette Fatboy.

The Fritz Bracht name crowned the golden age of Solingen razor making. Bracht produced a variety of stellar razors, including this lovely Tennis, offered here to newbies or pros. The razor is in near mint condition, with all original parts. The pins are tight, but they loosen beyond the half way point. Then there is the edge. This one took a magnificent edge.
